SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS

One scholarship covering the entry fee per venue awarded to a player to enable him or her to participate in the Academy.  Each scholarship recipient will also recieve a free Kookaburra hockey stick.  There are three scholarships available in total for 2021. 

PURPOSE OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS

To assist individual players new to Upskill Hockey Coaching to participate where, for reasons of financial hardship, they would otherwise be unable to do so.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Open to school age children aged between 7-17yrs who have not previously participated in Upskill Hockey Coaching but who show a keen desire to play hockey and who would be otherwise unable to participate due to financial hardship. Nominations will be accepted from coaches, school sports co-ordinators and club representatives.  Self-nominations will not be accepted.  

HOW TO APPLY

Fill in the attached nomination form and email it to upskillhockey@gmail.com. Nominations close 5pm Wednesday 9 December.   Successful recipients will be contacted via telephone shortly afterwards.  Upskill Hockey Coaching has the sole and absolute discretion to award the 2021 Scholarships without reference to any other person and its decisions shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Scholarship recipients and individual nomination information will remain confidential to Upskill Hockey Coaching and the Scholarship Sponsors.
